Introducing a new feature column: Live on Kickstarter!

Steam Tags was released a few days ago so I decided to take a look my recommended tags to see just how accurate it was. As I scrolled down the page, I was surprised to see “Kickstarter” as one of my top ones. It got me thinking about my recent game preferences, and indeed a number of the games I purchased or have put on my wishlist as of late have actually been games that have been funded through the crowd-funding website.

Discovering the Hong Kong Invasion

Every day, I take the bus to and from my college. Being the curious person that I am, I’ve always preferred looking around and seeing things as I travel, so every time I have the chance to, I try to get the very front seat on the upper deck of the bus where your vision can extend from the streets below to the skies above.

Around two weeks ago, I started noticing something new on the streets of Hong Kong. At first, I saw a light blue Pac-Man ghost made out of tiles stuck on a wall of an old building. Next, I saw some Space Invader art also made out of tiles on a footbridge. While these things did stand out to me, it never really occurred to me that it was a form of vandalism.

The Year of Big Dreams

Happy New Year! Yes, I know this post is a week late but better late than never, right?

2014 is going to be an exciting year for me! I’ve set some goals that I plan to achieve and some resolutions that I plan to fulfill. These goals and resolutions can be split into three main areas: writing, money-making and personal growth. I won’t go too much into the latter two since those don’t really have much to do with this blog but I will however talk about how I plan to improve my writing skills in this year.
