SADES reviews have always been my most popular pieces of content, and with over four years of talking about their brand, I’ve seen my fair share of frequently asked questions and comments about their offerings. Many of them surround confusion about product features, driver downloads and after-sales service — something even I was unsure about despite having contacts at the company.

Thankfully, they’ve addressed some of this with an official statement on their Twitter account. The bottom line? SADES actually has two different versions of their product and they want everybody to know about it.

SADES Knight Plus Headset Review: An upgrade to the SADES Knight (SA-907)

It’s been over two years since I first stumbled upon the SADES brand. Since then, the company has been doing a lot to push their products globally. When I went to the Hong Kong Electronics Fair in 2014 to meet their Sales Manager, Mr. Deng, he told me about all the things they were doing to tap into the international market.

All of it sounded very promising.

In these past couple of years, they’ve rebranded their package and product design, and have even dived into creating Bluetooth headsets and other gaming peripherals — with mixed results in my opinion. With all those under their belt, it only seemed inevitable that they would try to revamp some of their current products.

This is exactly what they did by releasing the SADES Knight Plus.

SADES Skynet (SA-909) Glittering Stereo 7.1 Sound Effect USB Gaming Headset Review

Skynet HeaderFollowing my review of the SADES SA-903 a few months ago, I contacted Shenzhen Sades Digital Technology Co., Ltd. to let them know my thoughts on their products. A number of e-mails were exchanged and a physical meeting took place, and now here we are looking at a review product of the SADES Skynet (SA-909) Glittering Gaming Headset. (Yes, SADES have started giving actual names their products!)

During my meeting with Mr. Deng at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair in April, he spoke of expanding SADES’ global market reach by improving their products to be more in line with expectations in the West. That means new international packaging and better build quality to attract and impress.

But does the SADES Skynet SA-909 live up to expectations? After a month’s worth of testing, let’s find out!
